Recently, I was asked by an international teacher to provide advice on how to get that next job. My first taste of international education was as a student teacher in Munich, West Germany in 1977. I was hooked. Along the way to a long career, I was told, ‘No thanks’ many more times than, ‘Yes, you’re hired!’ It happens to all of us.
